Mary Nice @ Piers Feetham Gallery

Flying and Floating is an exhibition by Mary and Derek Nice. Images formed and created from personal collections of fabric fragments and ephemera are inspired by Mary Nice’s experience as curator of Andras Kalman’s Museum of English Naive Art in Bath.
From salvaged life in found weathered surfaces, structures and printed ephemera Derek Nice makes paintings and structures. In resurrecting fragments of storm-broken fishing boats he pays respect to the perils of the sea.
