Josefa Ntjam @ Nicoletti Contemporary

This exhibition by Josèfa Ntjam comprises a series of ceramic sculpture, photomontage, film and sound. ‘Molecular Genealogies’ explores the history and future of emancipatory movements by weaving multiple narratives drawn from African mythology, ancestral rituals, the wars of independence in Cameroon, Algeria and Burkina-Faso, anti-racist activism in the US, as well as Ntjam’s personal and family archives.
