Curator Sasha Llewellyn will guide us through an exhibit that attempts to answer Linda Nochlin’s question, “Why have there been no great women artists?” 50/50 addresses the exclusion of women from the canon by introducing fifty artworks by known and lesser-known women.  Fifty commentaries by fifty different writers will bring each work’s unique story.  In addition, attendees will receive an exhibition catalogue and see the unique venue.
Charge: Patrons – free; Friends – £20; Visitors – £30.
