Women to Watch UK: New Worlds — curator-led tour

8 February 2023 from 10-11 am

Out of stock

Join us to celebrate the seventh Women to Watch programme, this year featuring female artists who envisage a different world through their art. The Women to Watch exhibition series features emerging or underrepresented artists from the states and countries in which NMWA has outreach committees. This year’s exhibition features works by Noémie Goudal, Alicia Reyes McNamara, Tai Shani and Alberta Whittle.

We open our UK exhibition of our five shortlisted artists on 4 February, but join us the morning of 8th February for a special guided tour led by the curator of the Women to Watch exhibition at NMWA, Virginia Treanor.

This event for UK Friends of NMWA will help us to defray the costs of mounting the show, and sending the British artist selected by the National Museum of Women in the Arts to Washington DC in June 2024 to represent the UK at the US exhibition.  We thank Christie’s for their support making this exhibition happen.

10 am on 8 February at Christie’s King Street Gallery.
