Journey into the artists’ psyche with moderator Anna McNay as she explores the challenges that each of these artists has confronted during the pandemic.

Multi-media artist Chila Kumari Singh Burman, whose lockdown masterpiece a brave new world transformed the facade of Tate Britain last winter, reveals how the past 12 months have influenced her creative approach and process. She is joined by Annie Morris, currently preparing for her first UK solo museum exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, which will include her iconic pigment sculptures alongside her ‘thread paintings’. During the hour-long conversation, the two women give their deeply personal accounts of their experiences during Covid and how this has influenced the direction of their work.

The event was moderated by art writer and curator Anna McNay.
