Description

Join us in this unique opportunity for a curator led tour of this major exhibition of work by Charlotte Salomon. The exhibition includes over 200 small gouaches on paper, part of a larger autobiographical body of work, produced while in hiding from the Nazis and before she died at their hand at Auschwitz aged 26. Salomon’s legacy has featured in international exhibitions including Documenta 13 as well as in important texts dedicated to feminist art. The last major UK show of her work was at the Royal Academy of Arts, twenty years ago.

This is a remarkable legacy, not to be missed.
