Jo Spence @ Tate Britain

A fantastic new display of British photographer Jo Spence is now open at Tate Britain!  Jo Spence (1934-92) was a pioneer in exploring photography’s personal and political potential. She often worked in collaboration, most notably with the socialist-feminist group Hackney Flashers Collective.  This display includes photographs and rare archive material that represents different moments in the artist’s practice and provides a unique insight into the career of one of Britain’s most important photographers.
