Sarah Dwyer @ Unit 1 Gallery

Black Chat, Sew Rib, is a solo residency exhibition by Sarah Dwyer, who worked in the studio space above the gallery (January—March 2020).

Sarah has a clear proposition in mind, the desire to expand her practice into the realm of sculpture.  She sculpts and draws and then sculpts again in a constant dialogue between the volumes and planes and in turn manifests a way to give this experience to the viewer. Blurring the ‘lines’ between painting and sculpture, it is very likely that Sarah is neither and both.
