Lubaina Himid @ Cristea Roberts Gallery

Marking her first major print project, Lubaina Himid made twenty-four hand-painted screenprints, working with master printer Magda Stawarska. Each work on paper, in Alla Prima/Cross Hatch is characterised by Himid’s distinctive bold patterns and vibrant colours, featuring enlarged details from engravings by the eighteenth-century British satirical artist, William Hogarth.
