Curator-led tour of photography from the Women's Art Library magazine archive

Curator Mo Throp will lead us on a bespoke group tour, 2 December from 3-5 pm, at the Chelsea Art Centre (across from Tate Britain) of her special exhibition of mainly black and white photos from the Women’s Art Library Magazine archive- rarely seen outside the Goldsmiths Special Collections Library.
The photos and material are dedicated to the debates and documentation of women’s art from 1983 to 2002. The photos are of work submitted to the magazine by artists as well as artist originals commissioned for the covers and layouts. The exhibit shows the the present fascination with women’s art of the recent past and encompasses an opportunity to share knowledge with the curator.
