Cathy Miles makes quirky, three-dimensional drawings and sculptures depicting birds and everyday objects out of wire and found objects. 

Cathy’s work exploits the boundaries between the 2 and 3 dimensional through the use of line while she captures the essence of her subjects, as she blends fact and fiction to create pieces that encourage the viewer’s imagination.  In Maker in Focus, Cathy’s sculptures tell a witty and facilitating story.
