Phyllida Barlow @ Royal Academy

February 23, 2019 - June 23, 2019

Royal Academy of Arts

On the face of it, Phyllida Barlow’s vibrant, large-scale sculptures are always at the point of tipping off an edge, becoming too heavy and unbalanced to stand freely, or overrunning the places she builds them in. July 20, 2019 - October 22, 2019

Royal Academy of Arts

From her early naturalistic style – honed during her studies in France – to her highly abstracted self-portraits, this exhibition will present Schjerfbeck for the first time to UK audiences.
