Become a hologram and meet artist Rachel Ara

September 17, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 pm

Join us and learn about and becoming a human hologram.  On the 17th September we will meet Rachel Ara, artist-in-residence at the V&A.  A former computer systems designer, Ms. Ara graduated from Goldsmith's College, winning the prestigious Burston Award, and turned her attention to creating art with a feminist edge.  Recipient of the 2016 International Aesthetica Art Prize, she will talk to us about her installation at the Museum, The Transubstantiation of Knowledge and the issues of feminism and gender which inform her work, even in the context of technology today.  But the day is not just talk -- we are invited to her studio at the V&A to be turned into human holograms.

Charge: Patrons - free; Friends - £10; Visitors - £20.
